What better way to wish our colleagues farewell than some home-baked ‘green cake’? The new Operations Team led by Keith Roberts had their inaugural meeting in Edinburgh and thanks go to the Competitions Coordinator (Mark Nixon), Fixtures Secretary (Paul Caban) and Sally Lindsay (Trophies Coordinator) for their input. Staff member Colin Matheson was also present.
A group of 9 young leaders aged 14-18 were led through the SOYL course by tutor, Mehmet. The course was a good balance of theory and practical to engage the young leaders. Our first group of young leaders represent 4 different clubs and a diverse geography from the Borders to the Highlands.

The Scottish senior team gathered over 8th-9th September for the annual international match against Wales, Ireland and England. The venue this year was Hurstwood near Burnley in Lancashire.
Several locations across Edinburgh are embargoed for the 2022 Sprint World Orienteering Championships.
