2019 Scottish Night and Scottish Sprint Champions crowned

Congratulations to all this year’s Scottish Night and Scottish Sprint Orienteering champions, who claimed their titles in the 2019 championship events which took place on Saturday 2nd (hosted by Interløpers) and Sunday 3rd Febrruary (hosted by ESOC.)

On Saturday evening, John Muir Country Park proved a suitably hard test of night navigation on a cold but still evening under a star filled sky near Dunbar.

Conditions in West Lothian for the Sprint Championships in Broxburn were a little more mixed and there were some slips on the icy footpaths. Uphall was not too complex – there was only one level – but seconds could be lost or gained by making the right route choice quickly.

Results for the 2019 Scottish Night Championships and for the 2019 Scottish Sprint Championships are now available in many formats.
