Your nominations wanted for President’s Medal

This year, Scottish Orienteering is asking SOA members to put forward your nominations for the 2019 President’s Medal.

Every year, the SOA President awards an individual, group or club for their services to Scottish Orienteering. Traditionally this was been given to an individual but Robin and Sheila Strain were joint recipients in 2017 and current holders are Edinburgh University Orienteering Club, who gained the 2018 medal in recognition of 10 years of the Big Weekend event.

Usually decided by the President alone, this year we are encouraging all members to consider and suggest who they feel has made a significant contribution to orienteering in the past year.

Nominations open on 1st March and close on Friday 3rd May. Presentation of the President’s Medal will be made at the AGM in June.
