Taking place from 28 July – 3 August, Strathearn 2019 offers the greatest variety of different orienteering terrain seen for many years at the Scottish 6 Days.

This year, for the first time, the event will be live streamed for those who can’t be there or who are looking to replay their “match of the day”. Though focus will be on the Elites on the two World Ranking Events, it will cover other classes (Juniors and Masters) on other days, giving everyone their chance to be included. To be an extra part of this, the event is looking for orienteers who would like to wear GPS trackers (with assistance from ScotJOS, the Scottish Junior Orienteering Squad).

Karel Jonak and his team, the International Orienteering Federation’s TV crew of choice, are flying over specially to film with commentary provided by Katherine Bett.

Accommodation options include the event campsite at Comrie Croft, Crieff Hydro and not too far over the hills Highland Perthshire or the University of Stirling. A shuttle bus service will be running from limited stops every day to help get you to these fantastic areas.
