Orienteering events continue this weekend
Following advice from the Scottish and UK Governments – and working closely with British Orienteering – orienteering events across Scotland will continue this weekend, 14-15 March.
This includes the Scottish Middle-Distance Championships and CompassSport Cup and Trophy, where extra risk management precautions will be taken. One of these is that there will be no prize-giving ceremonies at the end of the day.
Before travelling to any orienteering event, ALL ORIENTEERS should follow the advice from British Orienteering:
Please act responsibly; if you have any Coronavirus symptoms, however mild, or feel generally unwell, do not travel to events.
We will continue to monitor the rapidly-changing Coronavirus situation and follow the advice of Governments. Members will be kept informed of any changes to orienteering events as they occur.
