President’s Medal Nominations 2020

Following the success of the nomination process last year, we are again opening up requests for nominations for 2020 President’s Medal.

Every year, the SOA President awards an individual, group or club for their services to Scottish Orienteering. Traditionally this was been given to an individual but Robin and Sheila Strain were joint recipients in 2017. In 2018 Edinburgh University Orienteering Club gained the 2018 medal in recognition of 10 years of the Big Weekend event.

Usually decided by the President alone, this year we are encouraging all members to consider and suggest who they feel has made a significant contribution to orienteering in the past year, a year like no other!
