Exciting opportunities to work in orienteering

Not one but two paid development roles are now being advertised in Scotland. Both are part time positions, one working regionally for SOA and the other at a club level with Forth Valley Orienteers. Forth Valley Orienteers Club Development Officer

“Passionate about your sport?  Keen to help it develop and grow?  Then this could be perfect for you – Forth Valley Orienteers (FVO), the UK’s most successful club, are looking for a Club Development Officer!The role is initially for 1 day/week, anticipated to rise to 2 days/week in the second part of 2021 once our sport is able to return to greater normality. Applications are now open and the closing date is Monday 10 May.

Club Development Officer for Forth Valley Orienteers

The Scottish Orienteering Assocation (SOA) is currently also recruiting, for the Regional Development Officer (East Area) vacancy. This role is also 2 days/week.  The recruitment process for the two roles is separate, but if desired both FVO and SOA are happy to discuss with individual candidates whether it would be feasible for them to fulfil both roles.

Regional Development Officer (East region) with SOA

The SOA are seeking a motivated individual to enhance our development team and focus on opportunities to development the sport in the East Region. We offer a 2 year contract on a 2day/week basis.
