Volunteer Week 2022

Lynne Walker

Lynne has been a mainstay of Scottish Orienteering for many years now.  As well as volunteering in BASOC both on the committee and as a coach, she has fulfilled many roles for the wider orienteering community in Scotland as well. 

Most recently she has been volunteering as Planner Advocate and has spent lock-down adapting courses and workshops for online delivery.  Lynne has been a constant source of support and inspiration to the many coaches she has educated in Scotland.  Her dedication to furthering her own learning and that of others is legendary and she is always there with a pertinent question to encourage us all reflect and grow.
