SOA Club Networking day – 14th Sep 2024
Scottish Orienteering is holding a Club Networking Day (rebranded Club Conference) on Saturday 14th September at the North Inch Community Campus, 10am – 4 pm.
This is your chance to get together with folk from other clubs, discuss hot topics, share good practice and have your say in how you think we can take orienteering forward. Last year’s conference was attended by 26 members from 13 clubs and productive discussions ranged from the question of ‘What is a thriving sport?’ to recruitment and retention of newcomers, finance and the competition calendar.
This is not just limited to committee members or post holders and, unless we are oversubscribed, there is no limit to the number of attendees from any one club. We welcome participation from any club members young and old, veterans or newbies who feel that they have a contribution to make. There will be updates from the Staff and Board teams but the main purpose of the day is to listen to what you have to say and give you time to ask questions and engage in discussion with members of other clubs.
