Colin Matheson confirmed as SOA Competition Coordinator

Current SOA Events Manager Colin Matheson is, with immediate effect, also taking on the role of SOA Competition Coordinator.

The Competition Coordinator’s responsibilities include the allocation of national events amongst clubs, approving areas as appropriate for national events, liaising with the Fixtures Secretary to ensure the dates for events are aligned, leading on the rules and guidelines for national events, monitoring and maintaining standards of national events, and being the contact for SOA members regarding the quality of national events.

Colin will also be involved with the implementation of the recommendations that come out of the on-going Competitions Calendar review being undertaken by Jon Musgrave.
