Your chance to input into SOA strategy 2020-2024

What do you think would make the biggest difference to orienteering in Scotland in the next 4 years? Do you have ideas and inspiration that can help structure our work for the best outcomes?

Join in the discussion as we seek to update our strategy for orienteering in Scotland. As we approach the mid-point of 2019 it is time for us to look towards 2020 and beyond. We are keen to have members’ and key stakeholders’ input as we identify areas of focus for the next 4 years. Now is your chance to make your opinions heard by joining one of our strategy consultation workshops happening at the end of June and start of July!

As we look ahead, we have the World Championships in Edinburgh in 2022 which is an exciting opportunity and one we wish to capitalise on. However, we are mindful it is crucial to ensure the sport continues to prosper in more than this area alone. If you have ideas we truly want to hear them!

We welcome anyone with a passion to make a positive difference in our sport to come along to one of our strategy consultation sessions taking place in June and July and ensure your voice is head. We will be hosting evening workshops in the North, East and West to assist us in drafting a strategy that speaks to its members, resonates with clubs and also sets a vision for the way forward for our sport.
