2022 Inter-Clubs Kicks Off

The 2022 Scottish Inter-Club Championship kicked off on Sunday, with a regional event at Cambus o’May, Ballater, which was organised by MAROC.

Scottish Orienteering Championships 2019

This year’s SICC has a very different format to previous years, with results from the entire season, over a variety of formats, being tallied to produce the champion club, rather than from a single championship event.

Host club MAROC got their campaign off to an excellent start, with their competitors winning five of the seven classes, and they notched a most impressive 22409 points for the event. Neighbours GRAMP were also prominent, with Pete Lawrence’s win on the Green course garnering the most points of any athlete on the day.

Moravian, Interlopers and EUOC were also amongst the points, while the remaining clubs will take their chance to open their account at the EUOC Big Weekend in two weeks time.

Event results are on the MAROC website and championship standings after the first event are here.
