Roxburgh Reivers receive bronze level accreditation

Everyone at Scottish Orienteering would like to congratulate Roxburgh Reivers for receiving their Bronze club accreditation, at the Scottish Orienteering Championships in Dumfries & Galloway last weekend.

As a smaller club which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, Roxburgh Reivers displayed high standards as it showed size is no barrier to accreditation.

The Scottish Orienteering accreditation scheme was launched in August 2018, to help us demonstrate the high standards of our clubs. It’s a clear and positive way for clubs to increase credibility with official bodies, funders, landowners and other partners.

The scheme is independently assessed and clubs can apply for Bronze accreditation, followed by Silver and then Gold.

If you’re interested in more details of how your club can support to engage with the SOA club accreditation please visit our accreditation page and contact your Regional Development Officer:
