We recognise there is a lot of guidelines relating to coaches and to coached activity so we welcome interested members to join us online for a Coaching Q&A session. Join us on Zoom on Thursday 13th August at 7.30pm, sign up here. We have provided here the full list of national guidelines for coaching, we recognise they may not all apply to you and/or your club but we wanted all clubs to have all the information in one place.

The changes which have come into effect largely apply to coaching those under the age of 17. However, sportscotland are continuing their dialogue with the Scottish Government on behalf of Sports Governing Bodies for further lifting of coaching restrictions in terms of numbers per session. We will keep members updated on this if progress can be made.

The SOA Coaching Coordinators, Tim & Helen O Donoghue have created a coaching Covid- 19 risk assessment. A Word version will be emailed to club secretaries this week.
