Development Fund Changes

SOA have operated a Development Fund for a number of years. These sports development grants are funded by SportScotland to enable clubs to make a tangible difference in their area. We have recently made some changes which are intended to simplify the application, awarding and report back processes.

Ringing the changes

The first change is that we have moved to applications being submitted via google forms. This makes it easier for you to complete and for us to keep a track on what has been applied for. Once approved, funding is now released immediately. An update report is then sought after 6 months – again using google forms.

We have trialled the forms. The feedback is that it is simpler than before to apply for and also report back on the spend. Check out the updated web page and information about the grant here
