We are pleased to offer an extensively revised ESW on 1 July as a 2 hr online training session.  Read on to register

The course has been designed to be suitable for both online and face to face presentation and just now, because of restrictions on face to face meetings, this one will be online.  There are plenty of new exercises included in the course and the scope has been expanded to include Urban orienteering.

Training of twelve course trainers has recently been completed and one or more of this team will lead a group of up to 8 people through the course. As was the case when the ESW was first established, specialised course trainers will be the delivery team for any future ESW run across Scotland.

Completion of this course is a prerequisite for all SOA event officials, and it is also recommended for event officials who last completed the course more than 4 years ago. It is recommended for active coaches and is also open to other SOA/BOF members who wish to refresh their understanding of safety elements in event management.
