Graeme Ackland & Jon Cross announced as WOC 2022 planners

The 2019 JOK Chasing Sprint team of Graeme Ackland (planner) and Jon Cross (the other stuff) have been announced as planners for the Sprint World Orienteering Championships 2022, which is to be held in Edinburgh in July 2022.

As well as working with the Adventure Show to make British TV’s first ever live orienteering event a reality, The pair have been involved in bringing many, many elite sprint orienteering events to Scotland, so it is only fitting that they lead the planning of this most prestigious of events.

They know elite orienteering, elite orienteers, and most importantly what makes a world class elite sprint event and their appointment is exciting news for all who are looking forward to watching or competing in the races.
