Megan Keith (INVOC) wins gold at European Youth Champs!

The weekend kicked off with a tricky sprint race on Friday around the medieval fortress in the old town. Megan Keith (INVOC), competing for the first time at this level, had an incredible run winning the W16 gold medal by a massive 34s over the next competitor! This is an amazing achievement and GB’s first ever EYOC female gold medal! The others put in great runs in fields of around 100 all easily making top 35 (see below for all results). Read More…

Roger Scrutton: A Distinguished Service

Last Saturday not only marked our AGM but was also our President Roger Scrutton’s last day ‘in office’. British Orienteering Championships 2018 – event results

The Scottish Orienteering Association (SOA) staged the British Orienteering Championships 2018 over the weekend Saturday 19th May to Sunday 20th May in Royal Deeside. The Long Distance Championships were held over the Balmoral Estate with the British Relay Championships at nearby Torphantrick (Cambus o’May).

Overall win for EUOC at BUCS Orienteering Champs 2018

The rescheduled British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Orienteering Championships were held over 28-29th April in Oxford. Originally scheduled for the first weekend in March, the snow put a stop to students from Edinburgh, Heriot Watt, Edinburgh Napier, Glasgow, Strathclyde and Aberdeen competing.
