Scottish Orienteering clubs encouraged to apply for SOA development fund
The Scottish Orienteering Association is encouraging clubs across Scotland to apply for funding to support the development of grassroots orienteering in Scotland, ahead of the next deadline of 31st March 2019.
Anyone interested in pursuing funding for their club should visit the club development page on the SOA website for an application form and further information about the types of project the SOA supports.
The SOA will also be making further funding available for several new projects specifically to support development of club-to-school links, especially where teacher training is required. Clubs interested in this area of development are encouraged to contact their Regional Development Officer.
A further source of funding is available through the Orienteering Foundation, which administers a legacy fund for Scottish club development projects. You can find the application process for this at https://www.orienteeringfoundation.org.uk/apply-for-funding.
Clubs can apply to both the OF and SOA development fund in support of the same project.
