Scottish orienteers claim wins in Veteran Home Internationals 2018

Thanks go to all the Scottish “Veterans” (M/W 35-65) who made the long journey to Pwdd Du and Clydach to compete in the annual Home International.

The efforts of last minute stand-ins is particularly appreciated. There were wins in W35 (Gemma Karatay), W50 (Marsela McLeod) and W55 (Hazel Dean) but the team slipped down into third place just a point adrift of the local team (CYM) and behind England. A mispunch in the Relays saw the Scottish team retain third place. Team SCO will be keen to move back up the rankings next time around.
