Selectors about to choose squad for 2019 Senior Home International

Scottish selectors are about to choose the final squad for the 2019 Senior Home International – set to take place in South Wales on 7^th-8^th September – and any squad hopefuls with illnesses/injuries or other extenuating circumstances they’d like to be taken into account should email Claire Ward by Sunday 9^th June.

The Senior Home International (SHI) is the annual competition between teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and an important event in the Orienteering calendar. It offers international competition opportunity and experience to many up and coming orienteering athletes.

This year’s event will be based in the intricate sand dune terrain near Gower and the selections will be made shortly using the following criteria:

Scottish Orienteering Championships 2019
SOL races 2019
JK 2019
British Long Championships 2019

Anyone with any illnesses / injuries or other extenuating circumstances they wish the selections to take into consideration when reviewing the results is asked to please email Scottish Orienteering Performance Director Claire Ward on performance@scottish-orienteering.org by Sunday 9^th June.
